民国期间,古蜀国藏宝图流落于蓉城洗面桥监狱的传闻甚嚣尘上,引来各方势力觊觎。尤其是洋人们,更是直接向蓉城总督吴将军施压,谋夺藏宝图。 为防宝藏落入洋人手中,蓉城学堂的学生们制定了夺宝计划。学生许家兴伪造罪名,试图混入监狱,暗查藏宝图的下落。不料,却被护弟心切的哥哥许家和顶替入狱。 许家和本有能力越狱逃生,然而得知弟弟的真实目的后,不得已卷入对“藏宝图”的争夺。然而,死囚们的身份各自成谜,狱内外的局势也变幻莫测,兄弟二人几经生死,险象环生。 最终,许家兴与许家和里应外合,在其他爱国人士的帮助下,终于成功找到藏宝图,守护了民族财富。。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
