大学毕业赋闲在家的陈家乐，去面试了村里拍戏的剧组群演一职，幻想能成为大明星。片场中由于导演与制片人不和而发生争斗，混乱中意外将祠堂的丽妃雕像撞破，漏出了里面埋藏千年的金银财宝和一份丽妃美容秘方。外出务工的年轻人纷纷回村要分钱，原本人之罕至的村子热闹了起来。村子组织村民把财宝保护起来，坚决交给国家做研考。不料村霸李富和化妆品公司老总lisa想要得到秘方为公司谋财；制片人想得到财宝为电影投资拍摄；家乐需要钱为他母亲治病。一场三路人马、各怀鬼胎的夺宝大戏上演……。When a casino owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy to prep his retaliation.
