萨拉·哈里曼（朱丽娅·斯蒂尔斯 Julia Stiles 饰）的父亲乔丹（斯蒂芬•瑞 Stephen Rea 饰）在南美某国家经营一家大型造纸厂，某天她带着身为绘本画家的丈夫保罗（斯科特·斯比德曼 Scott Speedman 饰）以及乖巧可爱的女儿汉娜（Pixie Davies 饰）来到圣达克拉拉度假，当然与此同时也要接任纸厂经理的职务。乔丹热情地接待了女儿一家，并把他们安排在一处装潢考究、宽大舒适的庭园别墅内居住。只不过快乐之余，噩梦正悄悄向这一家逼近。 当地流传着一个关于小孩子的黑暗传说，在抵达的次日一早，汉娜心爱的毛绒玩具便被一个恐怖的孩子抢走。以此为契机，各种厄运接二连三向汉娜袭来……。Yaşar, a young man, has a hard time after his father's death. His inheritance from his father causes Yaşar to have problems with his stepmother. Meanwhile, Yaşar learns that her sister-in-law, Canan, who is living in the same house, is in love with her. While Yaşar is dealing with the inheritance issue and his sister-in-law, he realizes that there are some strange events at hom...。
