The certainties of ...。1943年，日寇对华北平原的蹂躏愈演愈烈，并且残酷实施“三光政策”，妄图彻底破坏抵抗日根据地军民的生存条件。冀中平原的军民在共产党的正确领导下，展开了广泛的游击战。山底村进步青年叶成（刘林城饰）从北平学成归来，他原本希望在村里办学，但是战争年代，何来净土。叶成的爹富贵一直和政委张罗着挖地道展开抗日战争，而这个小书生凭借自己学到的知识对地道进行改造。在这一过程中，虽然童年的死对头大春老跟着他对着干，但最终村民们被他说服，大家一同加入地道的改造升级中。与此同时，隔壁村落遭到日寇屠杀，地道暴露，山底村也危在旦夕。 生死之战，渐次逼近……。
