观山寿一（长濑智也饰）是曾经红极一时的摔跤选手，在众多大型比赛中有过非常出色的表现。但随着时间的推移和年岁的增长，体能大不如从前的寿一渐渐在摔跤界里失去了原有的地位，只能够活跃在一些小型比赛之中。在这个节骨眼上，寿一接到了远在老家的父亲病危的消息。 寿一的父亲观山寿三郎（西田敏行饰）是无形文化财产“能乐”的推广人，在全国拥有着超过1万名弟子，寿三郎非常想要寿一继承他的事业，无奈寿三郎个性严厉而又古板，父子两人之间经常爆发激烈的争吵，最终，寿一一怒之下离家出走，并且在之后的20年间都未曾联系过父亲一次。。《男人之苦》第10集，寅次郎（渥美清飾）鳥倦歸巢，返回柴又老家，卻發現家裡來了個不速之客──大學教授岡倉（米倉齊加年飾）。寅正怒著離家之際，童年知己千代（八千草薰飾）竟突然到訪。兩人由兒時趣事談起，感情突飛猛進，但原來同時間，岡倉教授亦對千代暗生情愫。初次面臨三角戀危機的寅，究竟如何進退？今集還有巨星田中絹代客串演出。 The tenth instalment in the Tora-san series. Tora-san comes back to his old home in Shibamata. His university professor Mr Okakura (Masakane Yonekura) suddenly arrives at his home which makes Tora-san so angry that he plans to leave home. However, his old friend Chiyo (Kaoru Yachigusa) comes to visit him. The two of them begins to reminisce about old times, and has developed a kind of bonding between them. At the same time, Mr Okakura has become attracted to Chiyo, which makes this the first ever love triangle for Tora-san. Superstar Kinuyo Tanaka has a special appearance in this film.。
