秋菊从梅县逃往香港，找她在香港唯一的朋友。谁料，因秋菊有点姿色，竟被骗出卖肉体，幸好及时逃脱，遇上了一起逃往香港的阿妹姐。秋菊被介绍清洁女工，偶然认识了酒店董事，秋菊从此飞上枝头变凤凰。本故事以秋菊逃往香港后，她及她身旁的人所受之遭遇，揭露出香港社会之人欲横流……。Two places are in focus in this soap. First of all the hospital clinic run by Göran Fridell, a doctor who can not take advice from others, including his wife Ingrid, who also works at the hospital. Their daughter Annika also works as a nurse at the hospital but dreams of becoming a doctor. She has a relationship with the young doctor Anders Ståhlberg but may loose him to nurse ...。
