Relying on his wits (and some newfound friends) he makes his way across Africa, before rescuing Jie...。青年杨二郎通过灭杀三头蛟立功，终于破格入选了梦寐以求的猎妖卫。他一心想着通过灭妖修仙最终与母亲团聚，却碰到了自称美猴王的猴子。两人不打不相识，一路经历各种坎坷意外，杨二郎获封二郎神，猴子也拜师成为法力无边的孙悟空。而命运也让二郎神和孙悟空从识于微时的情谊，走到了势不两立的对决这一步。。
