Netflix将推出一部日本民间传说题材动画剧《鬼》(Oni)，来自知名画师、前皮克斯艺术总监堤大介和他创办的动画工作室Tonko House(打造过《守坝员》等)。该剧设定在一个充满日本神话中怪怪的神和妖的世界，聚焦其中一位生灵的女儿——性格自由奔放的Onari，她立志追随昔日英雄们的脚步，但她独特的能力还尚未揭露。而随着一种神秘的“鬼”出现壮大，并威胁神的存在，Onari会逐渐看清：自己是否有能力保护她宁静的小村。 该剧将混合日本动画工作室Dwarf打造的定格动画，和日本动画工作室Megalis VFX打造的CG动画。。讲述主角生意失败后跳水自杀，漂落在一个小荒岛上，在荒岛上的生活与自我反省，经过一个奇遇之后，主角意识到自己心中还有梦想，于是他不惧艰险重归现实，踏上了追求梦想的道路上。。Tyneside ship-builder Joe Maddison lost his faith in the trenches at the Somme in 1916.
