本片由羅維自導自演，胡燕妮、張仲文及張沖兩旦一生主演。故事描述，張沖被殺，張仲文自認是兇手，文供述，沖原為己舊友，後卻追求其女胡燕妮；妮失身後，向文提婚訊，文不允，妮不惜離家；後妮被誘作歌女養家；一夜，妮回家見沖與一女偷情，這才大悟，但又不能自拔；後妮忽遇破產老父羅維，當夜一家團聚；此時沖卻出現，文不欲公開沖與妮關係，願隨沖至其別墅談判，不料，沖向文施暴，文遂拿刀刺沖……但作供至此，羅忽自稱是原兇……。Made during confinement, “In My Room” plunges us into the poignant story of a woman at the twilight of her life, through recordings of the director’s deceased grandmother.
