Meanwhile, EZ and Angel have grown distant from their father Felipe (Edward James Olmos) after a heart wrenching betrayal.。单子飞（胡军饰）的妻子早年不幸病逝，留下一个可爱的女儿单单（金晨饰）由单子飞一手拉扯养大。如今，单单已经长成了亭亭玉立的美丽少女，在香港念书深造，她是父亲心头的骄傲。某日，单子飞突袭香港，震惊的发现原本在念哲学系的女儿不仅早就被学校开除，还当起了红酒吧的老板娘。 愤怒的单子飞将女儿强行带回了家，关在房里，立下二十二条家规，全方位的掌管和控制了单单的生活。一场意外的发生让原本生活富足的单子飞沦落到了一无所有的境地，被迫带着女儿回到了乡下，办起了养鸭场。在乡下，单单和曾经的小学同学明门（牛骏峰饰）重逢了，两人之间碰撞出了爱情的火花。。
