国际小姐大奖赛江城赛区前三强刚出炉，立即引发公众质疑，称长相太丑，不能代表江城美女参赛。公众和媒体纷纷追查事实真相，主人翁被迫陷入了舆论的漩涡。 周媛与叶茂得原是情侣，却尔虞我诈；参赛结缘的付美琴、于晓晓和赵诗琦本是好友，暗地里却勾心斗角；姚鲁本是舆论的推手，却与付美琴擦出了爱情的火花。 付美琴失踪了，而这一切，才刚刚开始……。《网络年代》其中牛群、凯丽都是电影中的原班人马，加上刘威、罗珊珊等人的加盟，可谓众多明星甘当绿叶，烘托出一群活泼可爱的“网络少年”。曾经在上个世纪80年代因在电视连续剧《渴望》中饰演“刘惠芳”而家喻户晓的凯丽，在此剧中饰演古板、严厉的年级主任同时是望子成龙的神经质单身母亲岳秀梅，成功实现了自我突破。 在剧中，罗珊珊饰演的新锐女老师索拉拉还是一位网络高手，她帮助5个不同家庭背景的网瘾少年走上了正确的道路，并帮助警方破获了网络犯罪大案。私底下，罗珊珊不好意思地告诉大家，生活中的她其实是个电脑盲，虽然在坚持写博客，但每次都是纸笔写完再请朋友帮忙敲字。 凯丽在剧中饰演年级主任，与罗珊珊饰演的索拉拉相反的一派，持有传统保守的教育观念，自然也有很多摩擦。罗珊珊说这次凯丽是真的一改常态，彻底走出了印象中的“刘慧芳”，变成了一个古板神经质的女人，经常会和同事突然翻脸...。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
