Set in the country-town of Upson Down, the comedy drama follows eleven-year-old Annie Shearer and her adopted stray dog Runt, as they try to save the family farm by competing in the Agility Course Grand。一架运输机坠落于拉布拉多被冻结的垃圾场，而飞机师身受重伤，等待医护人员的抢救，而整个飞机只有一人会驾驶飞机，如机师被冻死，那么手下的这群人，必将全部冻死在这个废弃的垃圾场内，在这样的紧要关头，大家会面临什么样的考验呢？。
