以民国时期江城为背景，讲述书画世家身份的中共情报员严雨墨（肖雨 饰），在打入国民党内部后，结识江城内八面玲珑的青年辜新城（许睿浩 饰）。两人周旋于各方势力之间，运用传统书画技巧，抽丝剥茧。历经生死考验，仍坚守心中理想，在信仰的指引下完成了成长与蜕变。。电影是一段围绕着两兄弟的故事。哥哥文光（庄仲维 饰）个性敏感，无法专注集中，更不善与人交际。尽管如此，弟弟（张顺源 饰）一直设法帮助文光找到工作。然而，文光屡次搞砸面试，闯祸惹麻烦，弟弟气愤又无奈。直到有一天，弟弟听到哥哥房间传来的音乐声，才意识到哥哥的音乐天赋一直默默闪耀着。。In recent years a groundbreaking new study has been released into the effects of the contraceptive pill.
