获得“鬼手臂“的落魄拳手栾无妄和北堂昱经过重重挑战，终于逃离鬼王设下的鬼火七星阵。二人为了躲避鬼王追杀四处躲避，然而无妄的手臂产生了排异反应并发作，北堂昱用师傅的独门神丹暂时抑制住无望的痛苦。不料鬼王还是找到了二人，并将北堂昱带走，打斗中无妄重伤昏迷。醒来发现自己到了一个古老的不死村，结识了村女楚楚并带其寻求长老帮助，在接受救助的过程中无妄了解到不死村背后隐藏的巨大秘密，才发现这个村子并不简单，而一个阴谋也在背后暗涌…。本剧是根据一宗清代冤案而编著的。梁天来（张家辉）与凌贵兴（邵传勇）为表兄弟，两人起初感情甚笃，可惜后因兴垂涎被父卖入妓寨的冬梅（蔡晓仪）美色，而梅不肯作为兴之妾，逃至梁家，被来收留为婢，兴未能成其好事，故对来渐生芥蒂，并处处为难之....。Acacias 38' takes us to 1899 to narrate the story of a group of maids and the bourgeois families for whom they work.
