How dark is she willing to go for a chance at redemption?。这是一个阿鼠与阿狼的冒险故事，阿鼠是任务执行人，而阿狼则是“任务协会”的中介，专门为阿鼠寻找任务。在二人不停的完成各种艰难的任务的同时，阿鼠透露出对某种不可名状事物的向往——“星辰大海”；而阿狼，也在各种任务中寻找家族消失的线索。二人从任务中得知在除了现在这个世界，还有一个“上面的世界”，且各种迹象表明，阿鼠的向往，和阿狼寻找的线索，都直指“上面的世界”，甚至“更上面的世界”。。本劇以民國40、50年代助產士的產業特色為主軸，更帶入蕉農與商人間的故事，刻劃早期台灣社會經濟發展的縮影。。
