故事发生在父亲邱领邦 (郑少秋) ，其妻因难产而死，留下一子邱南生 (周世英) ， 故父甚疼爱，父子感情融洽。领邦英俊倜傥，很多少女对之仰慕，奈何他无意续弦，引来不少风流韵事。领邦家里有个诸事丁管家婆 (苏杏璇) ，她样样都管，经常催促领邦结婚，闹出很多趣事。在公司里，领邦碰上三个很「怪」的职员，各有各的个性，令领邦碰到很多「翳气」的事情。南生虽年纪细小，但已懂得很多事，欢喜时助领邦一臂之力，不高兴时则破坏之，常弄得父亲啼笑皆非。。讲述4个宅男科学家的情景喜剧。为人老实略显呆板的莱纳德与美女女友佩妮的恋情平稳发展，然而他俩始终不触及婚姻这个大问题。“谢耳朵”谢尔顿是个大奇葩，人人都爱他，当然最爱他的，要数他的生物学家女友艾米。霍华德与老婆伯纳黛特过着幸福小日子，而拉杰什终于做到不靠酒精就可以和女性说话了，可他还是光棍一条，属于他的春天何时到来？。Running Time was filmed in black and white, in real time, and seemingly takes place in one continuous, fluid shot.
