电影从一封来自1969年的信开始追溯，谈及独立前原住民被奴役的黑暗历史，直到1969年发生的种族冲突事件，电影记录下这些不被谈论及允许的回忆，探讨种族之间造成仇恨与隔阂的原因，入围台北电影奖最佳纪录片等三项大奖。。Looking for work, Aaron comes across a cryptic online ad: “$1,000 for the day. Filming service. Discretion is appreciated.” Low on cash and full of naiveté, he decides to go for it. He drives to a cabin in a remote mountain town, where he meets Josef, his cinematic subject for the day. Josef is sincere and the project seems heartfelt, so Aaron begins to film.
