Subjects of Desire is a thought provoking film that examines the cultural shift in beauty standards towards embracing (or appropriating) Black aesthetics and features, deconstructing what we understand about race and the power behind beauty.。此剧讲述一个失去希望、人生被践踏的女人，决定隐秘地朝着目标前进，并以无数谎言堆砌自己事业的故事。。叶默和洛影本来所在的地方是洛月大陆神药门，后被敌对势力灭门。二人双双重生到了另一个世界的现代都市中，叶默成为了夏国豪门叶家的弃少，受尽白眼后被逐出家门。因为都市修炼资源匮乏，叶默不断的寻找修炼资源。在这个过程中，他经历了多场爱恨情仇，也找到了改名洛素素的洛影，于是叶默想尽办法回到欲回到洛月大陆，报灭门之仇。。
