本部作品讲述了，曾在东京生活的花（小林聪美饰）和阿时（市川实日子饰）等朋友们一起，开始了在乡村的生活。逐渐习惯了每天在农田里工作的她们，却因鼠害而烦恼，于是迎来的新的家庭成员——一只名为汤姆的猫。即使她们总被调皮的汤姆折腾，最终却快乐地共同生活在一起。。Edna's father wants her to marry wealthy Count He-Ha. Charlie, Edna's true love, impersonates the Count at dinner, but the real Count shows up and Charlie is thrown out. Later on Charlie and Edna are chased by her father, The Count, and three policeman. The pursuers drive off a pier.。
