This is the second film about the detective Feluda (Soumitra Chatterjee) set in the holy city of Benares, where he (along with his cousin, Topshe and friend, Lalmohan Ganguly) goes for a holiday. But the theft of a priceless deity of Lord Ganesh (the Elephant God) from a local household forces him to start investigation. Feluda comes in direct confrontation with Maganlal Meghra...。余晓飞（戚九洲饰）外表玩世不恭、圆滑世故，实际内心善良，十分孝顺。为了给母亲做手术，自己以给学生课外辅导之名收了家长的钱。因为收钱的事被家长投诉，他被“发配”到偏远的清泉河村小学支教，与女友萧潇雨（卢沁希饰）的恋爱关系也因此亮起了红灯。然而在清泉河这个民风质朴的小村庄，他的人生观得到了升华，身上的一些不良习气也被他的学生们感化了。最终，他与潇雨在清泉河收获了爱情的果实……。
