SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. He has decided to leave, but a snow avalanche is crushed in the mountains, making it impossible for him to leave. Soon, inspector has found a body of a dead lodger. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。本剧集故事主要讲述香港廉政公署力惩社会上各式各样的行贿贪污事件的故事，分为《造市》、《钉子户》、《维修大鳄》、《死亡保险》和《公·私·车》五个独立的故事单元。《造市》讲述了一起上市公司诈骗案，在廉署锲而不舍的追查下终于人赃并获。《钉子户》描写了一个市区重建贪污诈骗案的故事。《维修大鳄》则讲述了一宗楼宇维修贿赂案。《死亡保险》中廉署则破获了一起人寿保险跨境诈骗案。《公·私·车》讲述的是公职人员利用职权来谋取个人私利的案件。 由香港电视广播有限公司与廉政公署合作拍摄的系列时装电视剧《廉政行动2009》，根据真实个案改编而成。众多TVB影视明星林保怡，宣萱，陈键锋，田蕊妮，郭羡妮，蒙嘉慧，杨千嬅，黄浩然等倾情加盟本剧。自1992年以来已出品七辑，ICAC的故事早已深入人心，成为观众最喜爱的电视娱乐节目之一。。
