The film was restored from the original print kept at the Indonesian Cinematheque. Special thanks to the family of Usmar Ismail.。夏菁借口参加好友阿冰的婚礼，从香港来到巴黎，实为躲开与她感情疏离的丈夫。在巴黎的地铁站，她爱上了拉提琴的广平，却遭到阿冰的反对。丈夫来巴黎找她，她决定和广平断交；可听广平信誓旦旦，她又拒绝了丈夫。而她觉得插在她和广平之间的还有一个女人，那就是阿冰。想到此她又气又恨，也不顾阿冰的解释与恳求，穿过花市、饭馆来到广平住所，用一把水果刀杀死了广平，然后自杀。。
