Blood flows and the body count rises as cast and crew meet the manor’s resident werewolf…”。故事描述康熙(尔冬升饰)少年嗣位，太后(恬妮饰)急欲替其完婚，遂选纳大臣之女纳兰琼瑶(王祖贤饰)为妃，但琼瑶为争取婚姻自由离家出走，康熙亦乐得不用成婚。後康熙不耐宫中生活刻板，决定微服下江南游玩，却偶见女扮男装的琼瑶；二人结伴同游，分享在民间遇见的种种趣事…。电影以战后十年日本霞浦面向的农村作为故事发生的舞台。插秧结束后的农村祭典举行期间，村子里的年轻男子们时兴调戏对岸的少女们。田村次男在一次夜袭对岸的过程中看到了农家默默劳作的千代，对她产生了好感。但次男因为捕鱼的事情和千代的母亲发生了争吵。在那之后，次男和仙吉一起扬帆起航，手无寸铁的二人逐渐驶向了边界线之外钓鱼。。
