The film tells of how street sweeper Alonso (played by Roberto Álamo) and tarot reader Marisa (Malena Alterio), the proprietors of a delicatessen Torres and Fátima (Jordi Sánchez and María Botto), plastic surgeon Calatrava (Julián López) and influencer Vicky (Kira Miró) have booked a house in the middle of nowhere on the Canary Islands, where they hope to spend the best holiday...。尤金是一位经验非常丰富的外科医生，然而工作之余，他亦是一位深受药瘾所苦的瘾君子。一次手术中，尤金因为磕了药而产生了幻觉，导致手术失败，造成了一个无辜的女孩的死亡。深深的自责纠缠着尤金，让他开始自暴自弃。一天，尤金像往常一样来到酒吧买醉，意外地目睹了一场枪击事件，一个男人胸部中弹性命危在旦夕，尤金秉着医生的职业本能对男人进行了抢救，最终成功地保住了他的性命，这一切都被一个名为雷蒙的男人看在眼底。雷蒙找到了尤金，希望雇佣他替自己干活，而尤金所要做的，就是替那些无法去医院看病的不法之徒医治。。
