普通女工韩素云所在的工厂倒闭后，她的爱人、副厂长李梦林发现厂里账目不明，遂将厂长罗田告到了审纪部门。正当审纪部门介入时，罗田因与李梦林发生争吵而突发脑溢血，本就与罗田关系紧张的妻子刘贞乘机将昏迷的丈夫及公婆、女儿甜甜全部推给了李家，而一连串打击又使得罗父病倒。此时，罗母决计要为儿子讨回公道，一纸诉状将李梦林告上法庭，李梦林被判刑两年……。This would definitely not have been my kind of movie, but my husband saw it on TV and said it was really good. So, on his recommendation, I bought a copy, since I didn't know if it would ever be on TV again. I had never heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。
